How do u clean it after it’s dried up

Do u gut them then salt the body

I attempted to preserve a set of wings a couple years ago and at this point I’ve found a few bugs decomposing the sever points of the wings, can I run it through the process again or do I have to discard? Any way to get rid of the bugs and keep the wings?
